The on-demand economy is great for most things. But sometimes, it is worth waiting a little bit to get something better. That's how we feel about our own brand. A genuine Umai piece is worth the wait.

If you are new to the Umai brand, here's the most important thing for you to know – all our anime artwork is original. It is created by one of our company founders exclusively for our brand. You will not find it anywhere else. Not incorporated into other clothing lines, not in streaming series, not in films. Umai is 100% unique.

That alone makes waiting for your shipment worthwhile. From our perspective, the anticipation of your latest order arriving is part of the fun. With all that said, let us discuss what goes into getting our anime T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats from our facility to your home.

Image Printing

Every Umai piece is made to order. We don't have warehouses full of already-printed T-shirts and sweatshirts waiting to go out. We only print after you order. We do our best to get printing done as quickly as possible. However, it can take some time.

In addition to actual printing, orders have to be processed. Typically, printing and processing take between two and four business days. From there, we ship. The amount of time it takes for an order to reach its destination depends on the location.

All items shipped within the United States should arrive within 5 to 7 business days following order fulfillment. So if you were to order a Umai T-shirt or hat on Monday, it could be Thursday or Friday before we actually ship. Then it could take another 5 to 7 days for the shipment to reach your home.

International Shipping

Here at Umai, we are extremely proud of the fact that we ship internationally. We think everybody should have access to our great artwork and anime clothing regardless of where they live. To give you an idea of approximate shipping times to your home, check out the following schedule:

• Canada: 6 to 10 business days

• UK: 5 to 7 business days

• Germany: 3 to 6 business days

• Australia and New Zealand: 12 to 14 business days

• Everywhere else: 8 to 12 business days.

Note that the listed times are average times based on past experience. Also note that shipping days are counted after fulfillment. In other words, shipping time is the amount of time it takes to reach your home once the shipper has picked up the order from us.
